Eventually we'll be too good to ignore. The last time I checked, our research budget exceeded the research budget of about 25% of current AAU members. We probably have to climb into the top 50% range to be considered.

Disappointed our fellow AAU brothers in the ACC aren't pushing for VT, NCSU, etc. to "join the club." That's the difference between the ACC and the B10 when it comes to academics. The B10 wants all of their brother schools in the club, where the ACC has too many schools like Academic Fraud U who feel it's better to differentiate between the "haves" and the "have nots" in the conference.
